1. Argan Oil to Treat Dry Scalp

Argan Oil can be used to treat dry scalp issues.  15-30 minutes before you hop in the shower, apply a few drops of Argan Oil directly to your scalp.  Using a circular motion, massage the oil onto your scalp.  You can spread any excess oil down the strands of your hair by combing it through. Once you’re in the shower, shampoo the argan oil out completely.  Rinse and repeat if needed and follow up with your favorite conditioner.

2. Argan Oil to Moisturize and Defrizz Hair

Argan Oil can also be used to hydrate and de-frizz your hair.  After blow drying your hair, add a few drops of oil to the palms of your hands, rub hands together, then apply oil to dry hair especially targeting the ends.  If you have fine, oily hair, you may want to skip this Argan Oil use, but it’s wonderful for thick, coarse, or dry hair. The Argan Oil will smooth and shine your hair.

3. Argan Oil to Boost the Effects of Your Hair Mask

For an extra moisturizing weekly Hair Mask treatment, wash your hair as usual.  Towel dry hair, then apply a few drops of Argan Oil to the Sunkissed Coconut Hair Mask (which already contains Argan Oil).  Apply generously to your hair combing through for even distribution.  Then wrap your hair up in a towel and allow the boosted hair mask treatment to stay on your hair for 20-30 minutes.  Rinse off completely (no need to shampoo!).  Your hair will be so soft, shiny, and hydrated! Best for people with thick, coarse, dry hair.

4. Argan Oil to Lock in Moisture as Part of Your Skincare Routine

The fatty acids found in Argan Oil help to maintain the skin’s natural barrier and keep your skin hydrated. Argan Oil is a great ingredient to use after your serum and facial moisturizer to lock in the hydration and boost elasticity.  As a general rule, we apply our skincare products from lightest to heaviest.  Argan Oil in its purest form is a bit heavier than a typical moisturizer and therefore would be applied after the moisturizer to seal in the hydration.  Just a drop or two pressed directly from fingertips onto skin is all you need to enjoy the effects of Argan Oil as part of your morning and evening skincare routine.

5. Argan Oil to Soften Cuticles

Apply a few drops of Argan Oil to your fingertips and massage around cuticles to soften and moisturize.  Any excess oil can be smoothed over hands to moisturize any dry skin.

6. Argan Oil to Remove Eye Makeup and Boost Lashes

Argan Oil can also be used to remove eye makeup and in the process nourish eyelashes! Apply a drop onto fingertips and gently massage over lashes.  Your eye makeup will melt away.  Follow up with your favorite cleanser to complete your double cleanse.  Click here for more information on how and why to double cleanse.
