A Thoughtful Gift for the Woman Who Always Says Yes

You probably know her.

She’s the one who volunteers before anyone else raises a hand. She remembers what needs to be done, fills in when someone cancels, and somehow makes room for one more thing.

You appreciate her. You also wonder when she last did something just for herself.

Or maybe you’re reading this thinking, “That sounds a lot like me.”

I know that woman well because I’ve been her. And she’s the person I had in mind when I created The Intentional Life Workbook and The Intentional Life Coloring Book.

The story started on the boardwalk

The idea for the workbook came to me while I was walking on the boardwalk with my husband, Mark.

I had recently spoken with a friend who was overwhelmed and frustrated. Her days were filled with responsibilities she’d agreed to, but there was barely any room left for the things she truly wanted to do.

I wanted to help because I remembered that feeling.

For years, I was a professional people pleaser. Honestly, I could have been president of the club! Much of the pressure I felt came from my own expectations about what a good mom, wife, friend, and business owner was supposed to do.

In 2018, when my children were 10 and 12, I realized how much I wanted undivided time with them while they still wanted that time with me.

That realization changed my decisions about my career and the responsibilities I accepted. Learning to choose more thoughtfully took time, but it helped me build a life that better reflected what mattered to our family.

Eventually, I wanted to offer other women a place to begin that same kind of reflection.

A workbook for the questions we rarely make time to ask

The Intentional Life Workbook invites you to pause and thoughtfully, prayerfully consider your priorities.

It gives you space to look at the roles you carry, where your energy is going, and what you want to make room for.

Sometimes we get so used to keeping everything moving that we stop asking whether all those commitments still fit our lives.

This workbook is a place to have that honest conversation with yourself. You can take your time with it, pencil in hand, without needing all the answers before you begin.

A coloring book for a little breathing room

Sometimes, after a full day of decisions and responsibilities, you want to sit down and enjoy something simple.

The Intentional Life Coloring Book includes 50 unique coastal coloring pages, paired with gentle reminders to slow down and focus on what matters.

Think beach cottages, bicycles, seashells, and a little coastal charm waiting for your favorite colors.

If you know me, you know how much I love the beach. I wanted to bring some of that feeling into pages you could enjoy at your kitchen table—with a cup of coffee nearby and your phone set aside for a while.

Choose a page that catches your eye. Pick whatever colors make you happy. Let yourself enjoy the time.

Together, a gift that says, “I see you”

These books make a thoughtful pair: space to reflect and space to relax.

For a friend, sister, mom, or teammate who always seems to be carrying something for someone else, they can be a gentle way to say:

“I appreciate everything you do. I hope you’ll take some time for yourself, too.”

Wrap them with colored pencils and a handwritten note. Give them for a birthday, tuck them into a Christmas gift bag, or surprise someone simply because you’ve been thinking about her.

And if you’re the woman who needs that reminder, you can choose this gift for yourself.

You don’t need to finish everything on your list before your own time matters.

Make room for a few moments of your own

Both books are available on Amazon for a combined price of $24.98:

Whether you choose the pair for yourself or someone you care about, my hope is that these pages offer a welcome pause—and a little encouragement to make room for the things you’ve been missing.
